Thoughts of you invading my mind. Memories floating to the surface. Thoughts of you coming to life. I push them back, back to where they came. But like a Styrofoam plate, thrown into a lake, they keep reaching the surface. Floating, drifting in plain sight. Thoughts of you a delight to the surface, a pain to my heart.
I wonder why you are there, so present in my mind. Are you thinking of me, or is this all in my mind? I see your face, I hear your voice. Memories of days gone by. Visions of days that never were. Your voice in my ear, your whispers on my skin. Memories, living only in my mind. Memories floating to the surface. Thoughts coming to life. Thoughts of you invading my mind.
