You Are Different

You Are Different
by Minna Von Walden

She stands at the sink in the restroom, washing her hands. She glances up into the mirror. At that moment, She almost does not recognize herself. You’re different, She tells herself. Are you the same person who you were a year ago? Last month? Last week?

You are different. Your eyes a bit deeper, your posture a bit firmer, your confidence a bit bigger, your heart a bit softer and your spirit a lot stronger.

You. Are. Different.
